Wheel thrown porcelain vessel is pierced and carved. Egret is sculpted and carved. Fired in oxidation to cone 6. 
 
The "Censer Series" is inspired by my travels in China and Japan where censers or incense burners would often be wafting fragrant incense outside of temples and monestaries.
