This “Humpback Whale Vessel” is part of a series I began in 2024. The inspiration is from observing woven baskets and challenging myself to figure out how to integrate animals with the visually enticing perfect circle. A symbol prominent across all cultures, resembling the moon, sun, and the connection of life essence.
 
The sculpture is glazed on the interior and could contain a plant or flowers if you wish.
